Plant Human Resources Manager- Manufacturing

Description

• Manage the day-to-day HR operations for the plant, overseeing a team of 3 HR staff members.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, including safety, wage, and benefits compliance.
• Oversee employee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for a diverse workforce.
• Develop and implement employee training programs, performance management systems, and career development initiatives.
• Address employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and implement effective solutions to foster a positive work environment.
• Manage compensation and benefits administration, including annual reviews and benefit enrollment processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidential information is handled securely.
• Coordinate with management to align HR practices with overall business goals and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure the plant maintains a safe and healthy working environment by supporting workplace safety programs and initiatives.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.
