One of the Southeast's most established General Contractors is seeking an Atlanta-based Preconstruction Manager to lead preconstruction efforts on a mix of commercial construction projects.

Description
- Promote growth and development of client relationships
- Attend client meetings throughout the preconstruction process
- Monitor and review potential opportunities
- Prepare preliminary budgets, conceptual estimates as well as detailed estimates
- Review documents
- Prepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors
- Take part in preconstrucion meetings and presentations with owners
- Research market trends and compile historical data for future use
- Prepare discipline estimates by calculating takeoffs
- Participate and lead preconstruction team
- Assist in preparation of preliminary construction
- Visit on-going projects to verify status of estimates

Profile
The successful candidate will have atleast 6 years of preconstruction and estimating experience with a general contractor, possessing the following criteria:
- Experience estimating for a mix of commercial construction
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, On Screen Takeoff
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as lead a team
- Strong organization skills and strong attention to detail
