Description
Assist the Project Manager with all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, documentation, and procurement.
Maintain project files, including contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and project correspondence.
Coordinate and track the flow of project materials, supplies, and equipment.
Communicate regularly with subcontractors and vendors to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
Assist in tracking and managing project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits.
Prepare and process project-related documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and permits.
Monitor project timelines and assist in updating schedules to ensure on-time project completion.
Support the safety program by ensuring jobsite safety protocols are followed.
Organize and schedule project meetings, including coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
Ensure all necessary permits, approvals, and inspections are obtained and documented.
Profile
2 years of experience in construction coordination, project management, or a similar role, preferably with a General Contractor.
Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAGE 300 CRE and construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
A proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
