Description
- Prepare bank reconciliations and post journal entries monthly to account for all necessary transactions for each property.
- Monitor cash accounts for all activity and ensure monthly debt payment is paid and recorded timely.
- Generate financial statements for each property and work with Property Management team on variance explanations and/or possible re-classifications if needed.
- Prepare budgets and work closely with Management team for operating expenses
- Review new leases/renewals/amendments for assigned properties to ensure tenants are billed accurately.
- Work closely with Lease Administrator to enter correct billing estimates and security deposits.
- Prepare annual and periodic CAM Reconciliations for tenants.

Profile
A successful Property Accountant should have:
- An academic background in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across multiple shareholders
- Experience across varying ERP systems, Yardi a plus
- Outstanding communication skills.
- A solid understanding of property tax and insurance.
- Experience in handling accounts payable and receivable.
