Description
The key responsibilites of the Quality Assurance Specialist are
- Maintain and update material setups in SAP
- Handle document control and drive documentation improvements
- Conduct internal quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001
- Manage customer complaints and internal nonconformance investigations
- Oversee material releases, recertifications, and lab sample submissions
- Troubleshoot SAP shipment issues and CoA failures
- Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction through surveys and feedback analysis
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
The Successful Quality Assurance Specialist will have:
- Bachelor's degree (or associates) in science or a related field (chemistry preferred but not required)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 (auditor certification a plus)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and a proactive problem solver
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
