Job Description
- Ensure consistent compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Lead cross-functional teams in creating and updating Process Control Plans, Manufacturing Process Plans, FMEAs, and Process Masters
- Initiate and coordinate follow-up activities for Corrective / Preventive Actions (CAR / PAR)
- Oversee Claims and Non-Conforming Product activities, including processing required internal and external documentation
- Review Material Test Reports for compliance with order specifications and submit to customers
- Log quality-related data, such as nonconformances and first pass quality, into QA databases
- Generate quality reports and update monthly key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prepare First Article / Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submission packages
- Assist with calibration activities and Gage R&Rs
- Coordinate supplier quality activities, including supplier quality audits and surveys
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), ISO standards, and industry certifications such as AS9100, IATF 16949, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Proficiency with quality tools such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and CAPA
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience with inspection equipment and techniques (CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Experience with CNC machining, aerospace, automotive, or medical device manufacturing
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software
- Base Salary up to $100,000
