Job Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer (Aerospace) will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory quality requirements. This includes evaluating and maintaining the Quality Management System, conducting gage R&R studies and SPC analysis, and developing PFMEAs and control plans. The successful candidate will also perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions, oversee quality-related policies, and work with engineering to resolve customer returns.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing is required. Strong knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality management systems is essential, as well as hands-on experience with machining operations and inspection methods. Proficiency in SPC and MSA, along with experience in gage calibration and geometric tolerancing, are also necessary.
