Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Leadership & Strategy :
- Lead, mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team goals are achieved.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, client acquisition, and market expansion.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to adjust sales tactics and identify growth opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions that align with business objectives.
- Lead presentations and negotiations with potential clients, securing new business and closing high-value deals.
- Sales Operations & Reporting :
- Monitor team performance and provide regular updates to senior management, including sales reports and market insights.
- Ensure smooth coordination with other departments (e.g., operations, marketing) to ensure alignment between sales goals and service delivery.
- Proven experience (5 years) in a sales role, ideally in warehouse services
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution processes.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales strategies that drive revenue and expand market share.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Experience managing and motivating a sales team to achieve both individual and team goals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in B2B sales within warehouse or supply chain services.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or other logistics technology.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
