Description
Sourcing Strategy Development
- Collaborate with category managers to develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories.
- Conduct market research and analyze supplier landscapes to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
- Evaluate supplier performance through metrics, KPIs, and feedback loops to ensure quality and compliance.
Cost Optimization
- Drive cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for value engineering, supplier consolidation, or process improvements.
- Analyze spend data and provide actionable insights to support budgeting and forecasting.
Contract Management
- Support contract negotiation, drafting, and execution to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
- Monitor contract performance and renewal timelines to minimize risks and ensure continuity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, align procurement strategies, and implement effective solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert in indirect procurement, providing guidance and training where necessary.
Reporting and Analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to track sourcing initiatives, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain, with a focus on indirect categories.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel, SAP, Coupa, or other procurement software.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Certification such as CPSM or CIPS is a plus.
Job Offer
Target compensation for the Senior Strategic Sourcing Analyst - Indirect Procurement is $75,000 - $100,000 base salary. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
