Description
- Supervise daily operations of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project progression.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, conducting regular site inspections.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Review and approve work performed by subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and passed in a timely manner.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site construction teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on healthcare or higher education projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction management principles, especially within the healthcare and educational sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant construction management software and tools.
- Valid OSHA certification and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
