We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Personal Injury Attorney to join our legal team.
As an Investigative Coordinator at The Jeffcoat Firm, you’ll be responsible for providing essential administrative and legal support to our attorneys and contributing to the success of our clients' personal injury cases. This position requires a strong commitment to client service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
What you’ll be doing:
- Request collision reports via portal or via individual police department.
- Set up all applicable insurance claims.
- Add Insurance Carrier(s), adjuster info and claim information in the Insurance Tab.
- Send appropriate LORs to all insurance carriers.
- Enter policy limits into the insurance tab once the dec page has been obtained
- Request FOIAs (Freedom of Information Act) for all MVA cases and any additional FOIAs that might be needed for the case type
- Create and send Non-Spoliation Letters when necessary
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, ensuring all relevant documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness in final documents.
- Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient case management.
- Mailing, scanning, and faxing documents.
- Attends required morning and monthly meetings.?
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.?
Who you are:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of administrative experience and customer service experience required, preferably in an office environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of law firm experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in using legal software, case management systems, or Salesforce is a plus.
