We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist.
The right candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Duties:
- Build successful relationships to understand the needs of the business.
- Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust talented candidate pipeline.
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications.
- Assist with job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Assist with the overall interview, selection, and talent acquisition process.
- Assist with the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
- Represent the company at career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to attract top talent.
- Build relationships with local trade schools, universities/colleges, and other organizations to create a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Help enhance the existing onboarding process and work with the HR team to manage the new hire experience.
- Knowledgeable on ongoing recruiting trends and best practices.
- Other HR duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration field or equivalent professional work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience.
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to meet with applicants and support recruitment efforts across multiple locations in the DC Metro area, up to Baltimore Maryland, and southern parts of Virginia.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships with a variety of key personnel that's built on trust.
- Exhibit strong communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
