Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues that need attention.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects as needed.
- Use an Ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an Ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
