- Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care for patients.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Support the healthcare team in various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in coding for medical billing purposes.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology to assist in patient assessments.
- Experience in hospital medicine and urgent care settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with outpatient care processes and systems.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
- Ability to work effectively in an operating room (OR) environment when required.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
