We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Research Department. The ideal candidate will provide support to medical professionals in a clinical setting, ensuring efficient patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Record patient information in electronic health records
- Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments and handling billing tasks
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for examinations
- Educate patients on medication usage and special procedures
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic life support techniques
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in inhale techniques for respiratory treatments
