Qualifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate, with MX or MC endorsement
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to plan instruction and activities for students
- Demonstrate ability to develop and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Teach assigned content to high school students and show written evidence of preparation
- Positive attendance is required
- Utilize technology to enhance and individualize instruction and stay current with changing trends
- Communicate student progress and concerns regularly with parents and colleagues
- Develop and maintain classroom with appropriate routines and procedures
- Work collaboratively within department to implement best practices and meet students’ needs
- Administer standardized student assessments when needed
