Qualifications :

Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate, with MX or MC endorsement
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to plan instruction and activities for students
Demonstrate ability to develop and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff

Responsibilities & Duties :

Teach assigned content to high school students and show written evidence of preparation

Positive attendance is required

Utilize technology to enhance and individualize instruction and stay current with changing trends

Communicate student progress and concerns regularly with parents and colleagues

Develop and maintain classroom with appropriate routines and procedures

Work collaboratively within department to implement best practices and meet students’ needs

Administer standardized student assessments when needed
