The Frankenmuth School District is seeking a dynamic and experienced educational leader to serve as Interim Superintendent . This interim role is critical to ensuring continuity of leadership, strategic direction, and support for students, staff, and the broader school community while the district conducts a search for a permanent superintendent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of district operations and academic programs across all K-12 schools.
- Collaborate with the Board of Education to implement and support district goals and initiatives.
- Ensure a safe, equitable, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Foster strong relationships with staff, families, and community stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting, staffing, facilities management, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Support a smooth transition to the permanent superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid State of Michigan Superintendent/Administrator Certification.
- Proven experience in educational leadership, preferably at the district level.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, excellence, and student achievement.
- Ability to inspire trust, build consensus, and manage change effectively.
- Strong background in instructional leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with the Michigan educational landscape, policies, and accountability systems.
