Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of accounting software. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Perform account reconciliation, including bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Record debits and credits accurately in the accounting system.
- Generate financial reports as needed for management review.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with specific platforms is a plus).
- Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
