Residential Project Manager

Job Summary
The Residential Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing residential remodeling and new construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, exceptional organizational skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing construction management software and possess a solid foundation in construction management, estimating and leadership.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations on residential construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with our in-house design staff, lead carpenters, and subcontractors to develop project scope of work and construction budgets.
• Manage change orders effectively, ensuring any unforseen or requested additional work outside of the scope is approved prior to performance.
• Implement project management tools such as Smart Sheet, excel and other software to track progress and manage resources.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor schedule progress and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed construction estimates based on construction plans and project specifications.
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including clients, and team members.
• Hold weekly site meetings with clients to communicate schedule and job progress.
• Perform closeout process with a zero-punch list goal.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process promptly.
• Ability to wear a toolbelt when it is needed.
• Project managers spend 90% of our process and 10% on site when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential construction management or a related field.
• Proficiency in Smart Sheet scheduling software or simular construction managment software.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
• Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership qualities with effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

This role is essential for ensuring the successful delivery of residential projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
