We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Risk Management Specialist to review claims from member insurance companies and determine reserve amounts for assigned claims. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance policies and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Summary:
- Reviews and approves requests for reimbursement on more stable claim files.
- Evaluates, monitors, and resolves ongoing requests for reimbursement and review semi-annual claim status reports prepared by member carriers.
In this role, you will work closely with member insurance companies to ensure compliance with reporting policies and procedures throughout the lifetime of the claim.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers supporting documentation for assigned claim files.
- Consults with Claims Supervisor on moderately complex or escalated requests for authority.
