Tahquamenon Falls State Park is known as both the largest waterfalls on the Tahquamenon River in Michigan, as well as the eastern half of North America. This spectacular series of cascading waterfalls engulfs an island and eventually merges into Lake Superior. Breathtaking views can be captured from the riverbank, from one of our rented boats, or from the newly designed walk bridge that leads over to the island.
Michigan Falls Hospitality offers a retail gift and campground store as well as boats for daily rental. The park welcomes over 500,000 visitors each year.

Responsibilities
- Assist guests in the rental of boats; safely help load and unload guests from boats
- Responsible for setting up signs and maps at the beginning of each day
- Ensure that boats are clean
- Ensure that boats are properly stowed and cleaned in the boathouse at the end of day
- Work individually and with the team to surpass expectations in an efficient, motivated, and positive can-do manner.
- Document damage to boats using appropriate logs and report to Maintenance in a timely fashion
- Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to all guests
- Follow all health and safety standards, policies, and initiatives
- All other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of food storage and sanitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in proximity of other people
- Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting will be required.
- Always maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Education & Experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: One (1) year of Customer Service experience
