MICHIGAN INFRASTRUCTURE & TRANSPORTATION ASSOCIATION INC is a statewide construction trade association dedicated to promoting the development and improvement of Michigan's infrastructure.
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team and support the Association's membership needs.
The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for handling all safety and training details that contribute to MITA's success with members.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of transferable experience in Safety with a construction organization
- An experienced trainer, capable of presenting to groups of individuals
- Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent knowledge of MIOSHA standards
- Familiarity with writing health and safety policies and procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
