Superior Dairy, Inc. seeks Engineer (Automation and Control) in Canton, OH to troubleshoot liquid milk filling equipment, packaging equipment, blow molders, bottle manufacturing machines through PLC code (Rockwell / Allen Bradley). Troubleshoot liquid milk production and packaging machines using electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Design and build electrical control cabinets based on project needs. Design and modify HMI displays throughout the liquid milk production and packaging plant. Produce and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD. Work with maintenance team in repairs when necessary. Get to know the operators and supervisors' needs in order to continually improve existing systems. Assist maintenance supervisor in leading the maintenance team when necessary. Assist engineering as needed with any project work required to be done. Pass down any outstanding issues with day shift maintenance and engineering. Wired and install equipment / commission new equipment.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, electronics and instrumentation engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field. 3 Years of experience working as an engineer in a production or manufacturing facility. 3 years of experience working with Allen-Bradley controls hardware, which must include SLCs, CompactLogix and ControlLogix PLCs, and associated I/O and communications equipment. 3 years of experience working with Rockwell Automation software and FactoryTalk platforms including but not limited to RSLogix, FTView SE/ME and FTHistorian. 3 years of experience in troubleshooting 3 phase 480 VAC power and 24 VDC power devices and equipment. 2 years of experience in auto CAD. Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.), Visio, AutoCad LT. Ability to work with PanelView HMI development software packages.
