Ophthalmic Specialists of Michigan (OSM) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated Ophthalmic Technician with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday (no weekends or late evenings required). Excellent training program is offered.
POSITION SUMMARY
The role of the Ophthalmic Technician is to work collaboratively with the clinic physicians to perform basic, advanced and complex manual and automated medical tests to allow for proper medical diagnosis.
Requirements
All areas of ophthalmic patient care, including but not limited to patient work-ups, refraction, performing ancillary testing such as OCT, Visual Field and IOL measurement.
This position requires excellent computer skills and to communicate efficiently with patients, physicians and other staff members.
