Position Summary : Under general supervision, but in compliance with established policies and procedures, defines and executes integrated marketing campaigns and tactics to increase sales and revenue. Utilizes data to create campaign plans and new initiative overviews (offer, target, strategy, timing, goals) for campaigns. Attends project meetings with internal partners and / or established project teams and collaborates with business units to understand business objectives and transform those objectives into marketing strategy.Work Arrangement
This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working both onsite at the Headquarters building in East Lansing and remotely. A schedule of expected onsite and remote work days will be discussed during the interview process.Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm ET. This position requires the ability to work varied evening and weekend hours staffing events. The specific schedule will be determined during the interview process.An offer of employment with MSU Federal Credit Union and affiliates is contingent upon the agreed work arrangement (onsite / hybrid / remote) and work location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Responsible for marketing products and services offered by the Credit Union according to annual marketing plan, with responsibility for specific assigned products and servicesFocuses on driving growth from new member acquisition, upsell / cross-sell, and retention opportunitiesMeets and communicates regularly with relevant stakeholders (business units and external partners) on marketing campaignsTransforms business objectives into marketing strategy and resulting successful tacticsPlans and writes marketing content to ensure a successful promotion and increased product usageProofreads own and others' documents to verify their effectiveness in conveying the necessary message, ensuring consistent brand, quality, and accuracy of information correct as to content, grammar, and spelling, and free of typographical errors; makes edits and copy suggestions to fellow team members' workLeads research for the development of member communication to ensure alignment of message (key selling points) to target audience; determines target audienceCreates Campaign Plans and new initiative overview documentsCollaborates closely with Creative Services department on the development of marketing materialsMaintains and reports on results and expenses for each marketing campaign conductedPartners with market managers, business intelligence, and other internal partners to creates SWOT analysis, and utilize consumer and competitive analysis and latest marketplace trendsPlays supporting role in product / service review, refresh, and bundlingCoordinates special projects and programs to ensure success of the products / services / projects / programsUploads current marketing content such as promotions and campaigns to the intranetCollaborates closely with Digital Marketing and Corporate Communications departments to ensure integrated marketing campaignsMaintains brand standards and ensures consistent branding across various touchpoints and through marketing tactics and campaignsUsing assets provided by Creative Services department, designs limited marketing materialsProvides timely and appropriate reports and communications to VP of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Campaign ManagerCommunicates effectively across Community Impact division and throughout the Credit UnionWorks closely with marketing vendors and partners to ensure on-time campaign launchesRepresents the Credit Union at events on campus and in the community to promote products and servicesParticipates in training activities within your department and with the learning development department; such training helps to ensure staff compliance with organization policies and state and federal regulations and lawsResponds to staff and member questions regarding marketing promotionsEnsures that all materials comply with federal, state and local regulations and legal requirementsMaintains the confidentiality of sensitive member, team member, and other corporate informationActively engages in continuous improvement activitiesActs as sole lead on new projectsWorks directly with other departments to lead product changes / introductionsAbility to lead a proofreading teamWorks efficiently to produce a high-volume of error-free workAssists with training of new team membersPerforms other duties and assists other employees as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
