Job Summary:
As a General Sugar Packer, you will play a vital role in our production process. You will be responsible for packaging sugar to meet customer specifications while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Safe Quality Food requirements. You must be able to operate fork-truck training classes and drive when required. Your primary responsibilities will include running consumer packaging equipment at set rates, performing quality checks to verify finished products meet customer requirements, completing necessary documentation, lifting up to 100 pounds, operating sugar bagging and palletizing equipment, and demonstrating good communication skills. You must also perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
* Run consumer packaging equipment at set rates
* Perform quality checks to verify finished products meet customer requirements
* Complete necessary documentation
* Lift up to 100 pounds
* Operate sugar bagging and palletizing equipment
* Demonstrate good communication skills
Qualifications:
* Previous work experience in a production environment
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to learn and follow SQF & GMP quality system guidelines and safety practices
* Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds
* Willingness to work any shift and weekend overtime as required
