The Michigan Sugar Company is seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Systems Specialist to join our team at the Croswell Factory. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment where tradition, pride, and excellence are the foundation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems in and around the warehouse.
- Ensure all trade sizes of conduit are installed correctly, including measuring, cutting, carrying, bending, threading, and hanging in place.
- Pull wire for electrical or instrument requirements, ensuring the correct size and number of conductors.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sockets sets, pipe wrenches, hammers, and taps to install various electrical and instrument devices.
- Install, replace, or repair electric motors, requiring heavy lifting, pushing, or prying to get them in place or aligned.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits to find problems and restore equipment to operation.
- Use technical equipment simultaneously, demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and trouble-shooting abilities.
