About Michigan Sugar Company: Founded in 1906, we are a grower-owned cooperative that has merged with Monitor Sugar Company to form the company we are today. Our headquarters is located in Bay City, with sugarbeet processing facilities in Bay City, Caro, Croswell, and Sebewaing, Michigan. We have nearly 900 grower-owners who plant and harvest up to 160,000 acres of sugarbeets annually, producing about 1.3 billion pounds of sugar under the Pioneer and Big Chief brands.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical and instrumentation systems within the warehouse, ensuring seamless operation.
- Install conduit for electrical and instrumentation wiring, measuring and cutting as necessary.
- Pull wire for electrical or instrument requirements, ensuring correct size and number of conductors.
A successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a valid Michigan driver's license and state-issued Journeyman or Master's License. The ideal candidate will also be able to work independently and collaboratively with mechanical crew members, exercising good housekeeping practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
