What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Office Assistant position at Michigan Timber & Truss?
You will work on a variety of tasks relating to production and delivery management and provide personalized administrative support in a well-organized and timely manner. You will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers by maintaining schedules and providing communication and customer documentation.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following:
Act as the point of contact between production and delivery management and internal/external clients
Accurately enter data within management operating system
Produce reports, presentations and briefs
Maintain an efficient documentation and filing system
Coordinate schedules, file important documents and communicate relevant information
Respond to inquiries from customers and provide production and delivery support & follow up
Assist in the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
Requirements:
Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Exemplary planning and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
High level verbal and written communications skills
Discretion and confidentiality
Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus
Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
A team player with high level of dedication
