Job Summary
The outside sales representative is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of our sales initiatives in their specific region. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong history of competence, initiative and perseverance to help enhance our market presence and foster relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record in both inside and outside sales, particularly within the direct to cunsumer sector. More than anything, our company seeks an individual who is reliable, trustworthy and able to excel in a new field while offering our clients the best possible experience each day.
This is a 1099 position. Canvassing and lead prospecting will be required as sales appts are not provided.
Paid training/education and branded attire provided.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business in accordance with company sales goals.
- Conduct cold calling and direct door to door outreach to prospective clients, establishing new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Foster strong relationships with existing clients through upselling and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management review.
Qualifications
- Experience in direct sales and/or water treatment highly desirable however not required.
- Demonstrated success in business development, showcasing the ability to generate leads and close deals effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving targets and driving growth.
- Being highly self-motivated is a must.
