We are a well-established, family owned nuisance wildlife control company that has been in business for over 23 years. We specialize in live bat removal and prevention, along with trapping, removal and prevention of almost all other types of nuisance wildlife for residential homes and commercial properties in Southeast Michigan. As our business continues to grow, we now find ourselves in need of additional office support to handle customer relations and daily office duties.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Assistant/Receptionist with a primary focus on scheduling for our Nuisance Wildlife Control Company. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our wildlife control operators are scheduled for appointments in an efficient and timely manner. As well as, make sure all customers are being communicated with in order to handle their nuisance wildlife problems quickly and efficiently.
Work Schedule:
- Full Time
- Wednesday-Friday: 11:00am - 8:00pm (Work from home Thursday)
- Saturday and Sunday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Work from home to monitor emails)
Responsibilities:
- Schedule wildlife control appointments for customers, ensuring that technicians are dispatched to the appropriate locations
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls and emails
- Manage technician schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal overlap
- Communicate with customers regarding appointment times and changes
- Confirm appointments with customers and technicians
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and invoicing
- Assisting office manager
- Provide excellent customer service to customers regarding scheduling issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to sell products and services over the phone
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a scheduling or administrative role
