Responsibilities / Duties :
- Maintains and troubleshoots all aspects of PLC and PC based electrical, electro[1]mechanical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and modification of PLC based hardware and software.
- Provides and / or coordinates technical support for PLC hardware and software.
- Maintains and troubleshoots extruders, materials systems, facility power distribution systems and any electrical or electro-mechanical systems.
- Maintains and troubleshoots hydraulic, pneumatic and other industrial systems
- Provides training, as required, to departmental technicians
- May be required to provide “on-call” support when needed
- Prepare purchase orders for parts and supplies as needed
- Must perform job in a manner that is safe for all employees as well as self
- Adhere to all safety policies and best practices
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas (6S)
- Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures (6S) i.e. production floor, shipping & receiving office and warehouse as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
