We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented Site Merchandiser and Web Content Analyst.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Merchandise products within product categories to influence conversion rates and sales, balance with marketing initiatives and brand focus.
- Perform regular reviews of specified categories of merchandise to ensure content accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
- Manage, update, and maintain product listings on Microcenter.com, ensuring data accuracy. Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data.
- Build reports and communicate the effectiveness of category assortment to the broader team.
- Ensure website content meets the needs of our customers.
- Ensure maximum efficiency of web search results through proper insertion and incorporation of keywords.
- Coordinate timely responses to e-mail inquiries and product issues received via the website or retail store associates.
- Locate and correct data entry errors.
- Promote the website as an information and educational tool.
- Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for site improvements.
- Manage, plan, and execute on site improvement projects, as assigned.
