Basic Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Execute daily production schedule.
- Set up and operate milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets standards using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, check fixtures, and drop gauges.
- Modify and/or repair equipment and products according to engineering specifications.
- Complete appropriate documentation using Excel and Word.
- Evaluate current processes and products to develop and implement continuous improvements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
Advanced Responsibilities:
- Programming for CNC machines using Mastercam.
- Design and manufacture Machining jigs and fixtures.
- Product review for manufacturability and quality standards.
- Assisting other CNC Operators to maximize Speed, Quality and Efficiency, while also programming and running your own set of machines.
- Daily production reporting.
- Act as Quality Assurance Representative for the department.
- Machine tool procurement and Inventory control.
- Develop the machining processes to ensure the product is produced safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining.
- Experience in running and maintaining metal working equipment: mills, lathes, grinders, saws.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Experience in programming CNC machines.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM for design and prototyping; SolidWorks experience for CAD.
- Knowledge of basic material properties for manufacturing.
- A good understanding of a startup environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
