Job Description
Shift- 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
Assist product teams in assembly, modification, and testing of commercial cooking equipment to support new product development, continuous improvement efforts, proof-of-concepts, product trainings, and certification needs.
Learn and master cooking equipment set-up and adjustments using gas fuels, regulators, and high-voltage electric hook-ups.
Execute test plans and iterate to demonstrate product performance features.
Monitor and observe equipment tests. Record data and prepare test reports.
Recommend product, test procedure, and data-gathering improvements.
Work closely with the Engineering Manager to maintain tools, organization, safety, and cleanliness.
Support lab testing to resolve vendor quality defects and field issues.
Manage and organize prototype and lab equipment holding areas.
Participate in engineering product design reviews.
Support lab testing needs to assist in component sourcing and cost-reduction projects.
Perform random EOL audits on finished goods.
Perform periodic regulatory testing
Quality
o Perform incoming inspection on materials
o Review non-conforming parts from production
o Review parts returned from warranty service for functionality
o Rework inventory to update for implemented engineering changes
