What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembly Technician-$17-19/hr position at Micro Tech Staffing - North Carolina?
Will be involved in building of new and repair of returned, electronic lab equipment. Perform sub-assembly, final assembly and inspection. Must be able to read drawings and MUST have good troubleshooting/problem solving skills. Soldering exp a plus(thru-hole and SMT) but not required. Must be a high level build tech with exp in Installing/assembling cables, PCB assemblies, mechanical assemblies, DC motors, LCD/LED displays, other components
Looking for someone with 2-5 years experience. Responsible for assembly, testing, troubleshooting, installation, repair, operation and maintenance of electronic equipment and instrumentation.
•Install or assemble cables, PCB assemblies, mechanical assemblies, DC motors, and LCD/LED displays.
•Build systems with attention to detail and diagnose any issues regarding specifications.
•Set-up and adjust mechanisms and align optics as needed to optimize performance of the system.
•Perform final testing and QC of systems and instrumentation. Identify issues and Troubleshoot systems as needed.
•Maintain production inventory and communication with supervisor about stock or ordering requirements.
•Qualifications
•Education & Experience: BS or AS degree preferred in a technical field (chemistry, engineering, biotechnology, electronics etc) or a related field with 1-3 years of experience
• Ability to lift up 40 lbs. of force occasionally and good Manual dexterity is required for assembly
