We are seeking a Manufacturing/ Process Engineer for our Estimating position. This position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotes for manufacturing products, supporting CNC Machining, Electrical Discharge Machining, and Assembly. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have an analytical approach to problem-solving. The role involves collaboration with internal departments, as well as external vendors and suppliers, to deliver accurate cost estimates and customer quotes. Job Qualifications
Training and Experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and aerospace industry standards.
- Proven experience in estimating the manufacturing costs of precision aerospace and defense products (5 years preferred).
- Experience estimating a variety of machining processes, including CNC Milling and Lathe, Sinker EDM, Wire EDM, and Small Hole EDM.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in interpreting drawings, tolerances, specifications, and RFQs to determine project requirements.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (Infor Syteline is a plus).
- Experience with Paperless Parts quoting systems is a plus.
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- High School Diploma (minimum); college or technical degree in a related field is preferred.
