Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in various technical tasks. This role involves detailed assembly work, reading of engineering drawings, operation of brazing / vacuum furnaces and troubleshooting skills. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.
Responsibilities
- Review and optimize manufacturing processes throughout the factory.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Participate in MRB meetings and support teams to reduce scrap.
- Operate and maintain various brazing and vacuum furnaces.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand assembly specifications and requirements.
- Support manufacturing areas when needed for mechanical pre-assembly of components according to engineering specifications.
- Perform QA checks utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy of all work performed.
- Create new brazing recipes based upon braze alloys and material properties.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment.
