Supply Chain Intern – Summer 2025
Location: Microboard, Seymour, CT
Internship Duration: June – August 2025
Are you a problem-solver, analytical thinker, and future supply chain leader? Microboard’s Supply Chain Internship Program is designed to give students hands-on experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations. This is your chance to dive into the fast-paced world of electronics manufacturing and see firsthand how supply chains keep businesses running!
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with buyers and planners to manage materials and ensure timely production.
- Analyze inventory levels and supply chain data to optimize efficiency.
- Assist in supplier communications, negotiations, and relationship management.
- Support logistics and shipping coordination to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and identify process improvements.
- Learn industry-leading ERP systems and forecasting tools to enhance decision-making.
- Gain exposure to cross-functional teams and see how supply chain impacts every aspect of manufacturing.
Who You Are:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for solving logistical challenges.
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with teams and external partners.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and inventory management tools.
- Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus!
