**Job Summary:**
The Manufacturing Operations Lead will oversee the Manufacturing Division of Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC, ensuring effective and efficient use of facilities and staff.
**Responsibilities & Duties:**
Servicing and Oversight:
• Oversees schedules and assignments for the division, guaranteeing optimal productivity and resource utilization.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive to foster growth and improvement within the team.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed, adhering to company policy and protocols.
Manufacturing Excellence:
• Ensures the manufacture of products meets production, performance, and quality standards consistently.
• Reviews production reports to verify safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met, driving operational excellence in the manufacturing process.
• Collaborates with environmental, health, and safety staff to maintain a healthy and safe working environment and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Leadership and Collaboration:
• Assists the Chief Operating Officer in defining long-range operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new technologies to drive business growth and innovation.
• Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills, enhancing their capabilities and knowledge base.
• Organizes departmental management structure and teams for optimal, efficient operations, promoting collaboration and teamwork throughout the organization.
• Works closely with the Chief Financial Officer to develop an operating budget that aligns with business objectives and ensures financial sustainability.
• Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested, maintaining transparency and open communication throughout the organization.
Maintenance and Improvement:
• Supervises equipment purchase, maintenance, and layout to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
**Requirements & Qualifications:**
Essential Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for this role, along with experience from a contract manufacturer in Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Exceptional organizational and managerial skills are necessary to lead and direct the manufacturing team effectively.
• Thorough understanding of policies and practices used in the manufacturing division is required for success in this position.

Education and Experience:
