What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - Turrets position at MicroMetl Corporation?
We are looking to add a Machine Operator - Turrets to our Indianapolis, IN team. This role operates various sheet metal forming and stamping equipment, including laser forming, to produce sheet metal components for assembly utilizing the current standard shop floor job protocols, performs other job-related duties, and completes all necessary records.
The successful candidate(s) will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, related technical trade training, six months or more of machine operating or other job-related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; understand and be comfortable with both the working environment and physical requirements of the role including a non-climate-controlled warehouse, lifting/pushing/pulling objects 25/50 pounds, and standing on one's feet for a longer period of time; and the ability to do intermediate math skills. Previous manufacturing machine experience with the ability to read basic engineering drawings and previous use of various measuring devices like tape measures and calipers is strongly preferred.
The role has one shift opportunity:
C Shift - Weekends: F-Sun, 5:30a - 6:00p. Three, 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per work week, with three paid 15-minute breaks and an unpaid 30-minute lunch daily.
There is a $1.75/hr. Shift Differential applied for the C Shift - Weekends.
