Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing multiple commercial properties. The technician will report directly to one of the owners of the property management company and will receive company-provided transportation from our office to assigned properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial properties, Stores & offices
- Perform Tenants MOVE IN & MOVE OUT Inspections & reports
- Keep empty bays & suites in operation condition and clean
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
- Conduct plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
- Repair and patch drywall as needed.
- Perform basic air conditioning maintenance (filter changes, minor repairs, troubleshooting).
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs.
- Supervise hired Contractors
- Electric, Irrigation, HVAC & Plumbing Troubleshooting & repairs
- Determine Parts List for specific job & Purchase as needed
- Keep Van Inventory
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Supervise Tenants on Rented bays to avoid illegal or unauthorized jobs
- Supervise Tenants for current Licenses & Insurances
- Supervise Tenants for proper HVAC Units and other equipment Maintenance
- Use Maintenance phone app to record & report hours
- Keep working van in excellent working & Maintenance Status
- Perform routine Maintenance on Buildings & equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and basic HVAC maintenance.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
