POSITION PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Sales will build and execute on a new business pursuit strategy. This key growth leader is responsible for driving revenue expansion, customer acquisition, and market penetration in alignment with our aggressive scaling objectives. This individual will leverage industry expertise, strategic selling, and existing relationships to capture new business, expand existing accounts, and unlock untapped opportunities in high-growth sectors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Identify, pursue, and solicit new sales opportunities for assigned and prospective customer accounts.
- Qualify new customers and projects based on company metrics to ensure a strong alignment between company’s capabilities and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the team internally to develop accurate quotations and act as the liaison between company and the customer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build and maintain a robust pipeline.
- Monitor market trends and industry performance to target growth area.
- Use SalesForce software to manage new and existing opportunities, monitor booking forecasts, setting priorities, and following up quotes for assigned accounts.
- Support the estimating process in coordination with operations, ensuring alignment with scope, terms, pricing, and competitive environment for each opportunity.
- Provide support for active projects with assigned customers, assisting with change orders, customer approvals, and issue resolution as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships through regular contact, follow-up reporting, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Develop multi-level customer relationships.
- Present the company at trade shows and other customer engagement events.
- Report on sales KPIs and outlooks to key stakeholders.
- First year expectation $1M in qualified product sales.
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management (required)
- 10-15 years of B2B industrial sales experience in CNC machining (required) Assemblies/Light Fabrication experience a plus
- Demonstrated business development success and experience in transactional selling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 software
- Epicor ERP & SalesForce experience preferred
- Willingness to travel at least 50% for prospecting, trade shows, and customer qualification
- Demonstrates ability to read, write, speak, hear and interpret documents and instructions from both verbal and written English
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must perform well in stressful situations, and be able to maintain positive customer relationships
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds safely
- Regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, crouch and kneel
- Required to use hands to handle, touch and feel office equipment and computers
- Vision requirements include (corrective or non) close range, distance, color, depth and focus
- Comply with all company, safety and quality policies and procedures
