Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft technologies. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions. Collaborate with stakeholders to eliminate technical barriers, provide proactive advice, contribute to product quality and enhancements, and create self-help assets. Serve as trusted advisor or subject matter expert and leverage expertise to maximize functionality of Microsoft technologies. Conduct modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between systems to improve reliability and supportability and reduce time to solve technical issues. Responsible for incident metrics such as Customer Satisfaction, quality of support experience, frontline engineer technical readiness, and process compliance. Manage the customer relationship with regards to technical support and serve as an escalation point for strategic customer issues and support engineers to remove roadblocks and help prioritize technical issues at a global level. Communicate aggregated customer feedback and set operational frameworks and standards to drive product and process improvements. Drive the partnership with internal groups to ensure aggregated customer feedback is considered to influence and drive product quality improvements. Identify opportunities to collaborate effectively across other teams and organizations to enable a great customer experience. Establish engagement strategy to promote effective collaboration across other teams and organizations to enable a great customer experience. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more (but not 100%) within the same geographic area as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in end-to-end delivery of software service projects and performing requirements gathering, designing, development, and deployment of productivity and business processes platforms and product offerings.
- Specific Skills: This position also requires at least Six (6) years of experience in the following skills: SQL and T-SQL; SQL Server; Project Management; Program Management; Data Structures; Managing software and business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; and Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (Job Code: TSSKG15403), in Irving, TX, is $170,127 to $200,127.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
