The business support team within M 365 Core Experiences provides the operations infrastructure and support that allow our product makers to make product . We contribute to the overall success of our team through excellence in organizational effectiveness and the very best employee experience.

The team is seeling a Senior Business Administrator that thrives in a fast-paced environment, has attention to detail, a nd can embrace a challenge with high energy and a positive attitude. This role requires you to be onsite 3 days a week in Microsoft's offices in Redmond, WA. By applying to this U.S. Redmond, WA position, you are required to be local to the Seattle area and relocation does not apply/is not provided for the role.

Responsibilities

Team Management Support

  • Contributes to team experience activities. Collaborates with Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) to support recruitment efforts . Supports onboarding and offboarding effort s . Maintains and manages headcount activities .

Travel Management

  • Book business travel and logistics to ensure scheduling of all meetings based on itinerary.

Calendar Management , Meeting Logistics , Events

  • Provide strategic calendar and time planning support for leader(s) . Own the coordination, logistics , and direction of team events. Helps to execute on business cadence around the Rhythm of Business.

Space Management and Planning

  • Support onsite team needs for spaces and equipment including desk assignments, conference rooms, transitional spaces, and touchdown desks. Support group moves, space escalations/requests, and liaise with space planners to help wit h future space planning needs.

Budget and Forecast

  • Manage & track discretionary spend across team and provide reporting as needed. Assist with expense report creation on behalf of your leader and act as interim approver.

Discipline Growth and Development

  • Actively participates in the Business Support community to mentor colleagues . Support onboarding and training of new Business Support staff. Documents and shares best practices and insights.

Project Ownership

  • Executes various projects and tasks and completes project deliverables with little or no supervision. Streamlines processes and provides process improvement suggestions.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years Administrative, Business Support, and/or customer service experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
    • 1 years of experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and/or Word.

    Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

    • 3 years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration work.
    • Associate's/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology).
    • 1 year(s) experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).

    Business Support ATR-C - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $23.56 - $41.68 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $34.71 - $48.22 per hour.
