Job Summary:

As a Technical Sales Support Associate, you will lead and manage customer-facing requests, addressing their requirements while also driving internal projects that support the technical aspects of our business. Your role will ensure seamless communication and successful delivery of solutions aligned with our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure suppliers meet regulatory documentation and compliance standards.
  • Provide regulatory documentation to customers and maintain internal compliance.
  • Address customer and prospect inquiries by offering technical guidance and creating supporting materials.
  • Update and manage data in software systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and send product pricing and quotations.
  • Follow up on open opportunities with prospects.
  • Engage with assigned potential customers.
  • Report emerging customer requirements to management for process improvement.
  • Research microorganisms and update proprietary databases.
  • Summarize scientific information into concise reports.
  • Support additional tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Committed to continuous learning and professional development.
  • High school diploma with demonstrated success in technical or science-focused coursework.
  • Proven ability to adapt to dynamic environments, manage diverse tasks, and independently plan, develop, and execute projects.
  • Strong work ethic with a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical writing experience or capability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, and experienced with email platforms.
  • Competent in performing basic mental calculations with accuracy.
  • Highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a focus on prioritization and efficiency.
  • Maintains resilience and a positive attitude when navigating everyday challenges.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business with experience in microbiology or bacteriology—or the inverse.

Report to: Technical Sales Support Manager

Salary: $65,000-$90,000/year with a 6% incentive pay component

Must Commute to Glendale daily
