What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Microtel Inn & Suites?
NOTE: this is a part-time position. Needing someone to fill 3 night shifts a week. Must have previous hotel experience, preferably with Wyndham but not required. Must be proficient in using hotel PMS systems of other chain hotels.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, run routine night audit, monitor hallways at night time
- Assist with guest reservations and ensure accurate information is entered into the system
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, perform limited tasks for laundry
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Must have previous hotel experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
-Keep professional attitude while on shift
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software for reservations and check-ins
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
Note: Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is required.
