Position Summary:
Located at the Microtrac Inc. manufacturing facility in York, PA, we are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Controller to direct and lead all aspects of accounting and finance functions while providing guidance and partnership towards meeting company goals and objectives. The Controller will work in tandem with York-based staff, the Sales and Applications team in Newtown PA as well as accounting and finance leadership from Germany and the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all accounting functions
- Assist the General Manager and group management in meeting company goals & objectives by providing financial analysis and developing strategies
- Financial reporting and control
- Prepare, present, and analyze monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with international GAAP and corporate timing requirements.
- Oversee the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and group reporting.
- Local tax accounting and statutory compliance
- Prepare statements according to local GAAP and monitor compliance.
- Primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and tax authorities. Ensure compliance with local, state, and US regulations
- Strategic planning and implementation
- Streamline financial reporting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy without the need for additional staff to support growth.
- Lead cashflow analysis and improvement directives.
- Develop staff in ways that promote growth in capabilities, responsibility, and support career-path goals.
- Provide financial and accounting leadership for M&A projects.
- Manage implementation of improvement projects (e.g. ERP, Payroll system)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including International, multicultural setting (handling US vs. Corporate GAAP)
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Expertise in MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus)
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing staff
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across different departments Including non-financial stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Salary: $100k - $120k annual
