Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. As a Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing mental health counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals of all ages. Your role will involve conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support the well-being of your clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on clients' individual goals and needs
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health concerns
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health issues and coping strategies
- Meeting remotely, in-home, or in the office.
Experience:
- at least one intership where counseling services were required
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities.
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Strong knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Knowledge of DSM 5-TR
